Above is a link to a brief article about the wikileaks release of >90,000 intelligence reports, most of which are raw, essentially consisting of the equivalent of "SALUTE" reports, or the equivalent of 911 calls or "officer in pursuit calls" to give a civilian equivalent.

The fact that Gates and others are on TV or the radio decrying Wikileaks instead of simply ordering someone within the DOD counterintelligence community to shut it down via a plausibly deniable "hacker" attack, demonstrates that either this stuff isn't nearly as serious as they claim, or they aren't serious about the war in Afghanistan.

I suppose there's a third option, which is that we have no idea what we're doing, and the ineffectual flailing on TV and elsewhere should be taken at face value.
