- I've been in the Army 11 years and three deployments, finally decided to change things by attending medical school and therefore left Iraq in May 2007 to matriculate at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. I've been a Physician Assistant for 6 years (covering all three deployments), so my committment to medical care of soldiers is already well developed.
